The Walden University Student Satisfaction Survey was launched on October 21st. A survey link was sent to Walden e-mail accounts, and reminder e-mails with links to the survey will be distributed regularly as well. It's important to complete the survey because your responses will:

  • Share ideas for how we can better support your lifelong learning goals
  • Suggest enhancements to our services and programs, and
  • Help our university remain an innovator in higher education

The doctoral premise and prospectus are now eligible for submission to the Writing Center’s paper review service. Although writing instructors will not provide feedback on content (e.g., quality of research questions) or document requirements, they will provide feedback to help students develop their writing skills, understand the writing process, and find appropriate resources. Students should make appointments for reviews of their premise or prospectus on the new Preproposal Schedule in myPASS. myPASS policies have been updated. Please review appointment policies for details on documents eligible for review, what constitutes a missed appointment, and more.

Check out our self-paced modules, which recently won the Online Learning Consortium's Effective Practice Award! Beth Nastachowski, manager of multimedia instruction and lead module person, has put together an infographic explaining modules and their effectiveness.
On April 6, Walden University’s chief academic officer announced to students and faculty that Walden papers no longer require a running head. See this blog post from the Writing Center for more information. Our course templates have been updated to reflect this change.
